Yes – we call it Respite Care, and it’s designed for seniors who need memory care services just for a short time. Respite Care can be of great benefit to provide a caregiver a deserved break.
The cost of long term care can seem daunting. For information about public funds and services that may be available to you and your family, we encourage you to contact the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) in your area. These centers provide information on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability. Other options you can explore to ease the financial commitment of assisted living include long term care insurance, federal benefits provided through the Department of Veteran Affairs or the sale of an in-force life insurance policy.
Angie Pierce, RN BSN
I have over 15 years of experience caring for seniors and I joined Park Place as the administrator when it opened in 2008. I am very proud of the living options our campus offers, but I’m most proud of our staff members. They are the heart and soul of our community. All of us at Park Place are committed to providing the best care and customer service possible for residents of our campus.
