The summer fun continued in August, starting with apartment and assisted living folks attending the “Not Our First Rodeo” Community Senior Picnic. Everyone had a great time! Then we hosted our annual Summer Family Party, where everyone enjoyed beautiful weather outside on our nearly expanded patio. Apartment tenants enjoyed a corn boil and potluck – thank you to A & W Sweet Corn Stand for donating the corn and fresh veggies! A new session of the Park Place exercise class also started. It’s perfect for all fitness levels and taught by Amy Hoerner, a physical therapy assistant at Southwest Health.
