Community friend Kay donated handmade valentines for Park Place folks to send to friends and family

There were lots of reasons to party in February, starting off with celebrating Dolly Parton! Janet Leib got folks up and dancing to many of her tunes, and there were lots of shenanigans with a blonde wig. Rich Baumann entertained a little later in the month, playing piano, guitar and violin; and folks caught Olympic fever and competed in their own Olympic Games. Community friend Kay donated her handmade valentines, and folks enjoyed picking out just the right one to send to family and friends. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, there was another campus party, and apartment tenants had a candlelight evening meal. The last celebration was for Mardi Gras, with a delicious King Cake made by our dietary staff. Thank you to the Platteville High School FFA students for doing a drive-by visit for National FFA Week, and to Miss Wisconsin High School Rodeo Queen Grace for giving a presentation about rodeo life.
