Park Place is under construction, with a 17,000 sq. ft. addtion underway including one- and two-bedroom assisted living units and a greenhouse. Completion is expected early in 2026. To celebrate all the excitement, folks enjoyed a Hard Hat Happy Hour. There were also parties to commemorate the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo. Apartment tenant ladies had a “Muffin Mix Up”, working together to make muffins for their morning coffee, and memory care ladies made a yummy Rhubard Cake. To honor all the ladies, there was a lovely Mother’s Day party with delicious food and door prizes. The warmer weather meant nice strolls around the Platteville Inclusive Playground and a trip to the greenhouse for flowers. The month ended with a visit to the Grant County Historical Society in Lancaster to see a peanut roaster restored and donated by Care Coordinator Molly, and Administrator Angie gave a presentation to the Platteville Optimist Club.
