Sometimes it’s fun to celebrate out of the ordinary things, like Dr. Seuss’ birthday and a Hawaiian beach party (especially when it’s below freezing outside).  The entire campus came together for the Hawaiian party, which included beach volleyball, beach wheel of fortune, delicious drinks, and sea shell painting.  Everyone had a fabulous time getting tropical without worrying about the sand!  Assisted living and memory care residents also enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  They read some of his poems, wore typical Dr. Seuss-style hats and bow ties, and ate a ‘Green Eggs & Ham’ snack that consisted of pretzels and chocolate.  What creative and unique ideas!  To view pictures, please click on the web album.
