Campus residents had a wonderful November, participating in a variety of activities.  Folks in assisted living had a great time baking and decorating cupcakes with volunteer Jackie.  4K students from St. Mary’s joined the seniors for a presentation given by one of the residents about toys from the past like tops and horseshoes.  To commemorate Veterans Day,  ladies from the VFW Auxiliary Group of Platteville were invited to Park Place for a program.  One of the gals gave a presentation, and afterward each resident veteran was recognized and together they recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang patriotic songs.  The annual Park Place Craft Fair was held toward the middle of the month.  It was a great success, with over 30 vendors featuring homemade gifts such as baked goods, jewelry, pottery and more!  Campus residents and community members had a lovely time perusing the different booths.  What a busy and fun month it was!  Thanks to all who shared their time and talents with us.  To view photos, please click on the web album.
