The month of April was full of exciting activities for campus seniors. They dyed Easter eggs, enjoyed Happy Hour outside in the beautiful weather, and were entertained by Terry Walker, a fully-vaccinated ventriloquist, for the first time in over a year! Apartment tenants had a belated Easter party as well with delicious snacks, fun games and cute photo props. Lastly, campus residents gathered at Smith Park to plant a Park Place ginkgo tree in honor of Arbor Day. The seniors spend many hours walking in the park, so they wanted to give back to this wonderful community resource. Thanks to Recreation Director and City Forester Luke Peters for overseeing the planting and sharing his knowledge! To view photos from this past month’s activities, please click on the web album.
