May was an exciting month at Park Place! The expansion opened and our first new residents started moving in! Folks love the new greenhouse, and the larger dining room and activity room were perfect spots for a Mother’s Day tea and Memorial Day social. A couple of the construction guys joined in on a Cinco de Mayo party as work was wrapping up. They will be missed! A big thank you to RA Kale for bringing in a rose for each of the ladies for Mother’s Day. Thank you also to Melvin’s daughter, Nancy, for volunteering with a number of activities, and to Barb’s daughter, Tammy, for bringing in Painted Lady cocoons.
