Folks had a picnic lunch at Riverview Park in Dubuque in September.

What a month we had in September! National Assisted Living Week was the 7-13th and the theme was “Ageless Adventure”, with special events to recognize residents and staff. The festivities started out with a rousing bingo game for Grandparents Day, and a hilarious performance by The Spoon Man. Kiddos from Great Beginnings came for a presentation by the National Mississippi River Museum, and the Vesperman Farms ice cream truck made its annual visit with delicious treats. Thanks to the volunteer drivers who took folks on a tour of the Platteville Community Arboretum trail, to Platteville Police Chief Doug McKinley for his visit to commemorate 9/11, and to the Blockhouse Builders 4-H Club for bringing in their fair projects. A luau, a picnic lunch at Riverview Park in Dubuque, an apple party and a trip to Sinsinawa Mound Center made it a full, fun month! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
