August means summer is winding down, but it also means sweet corn! Thank you to Administrator Angie’s cousin Joe and his family at Uppena Farms for the delicious bounty! Jen Long stopped by and brought her beautiful macaws, and everyone was amazed at how tame and friendly they were! We were pleased to welcome family and friends for the annual Summer Ice Cream Social – good music and precious time with loved ones. There were also trips to the Dickeyville Grotto, a Dog Days of Summer Party and cookie baking. The apartment tenants hatched monarch butterlies, took a trip to Tower Junction Supper Club and Rural Route 1 Popcorn, and a great group attended the the Senior Picnic hosted by the Platteville Community Evangelical Free Church.
