July started out with a patriotic concert by Ron Lubbers and apartment tenants playing "Boom Boom Bingo!" A big thank you to Activity Director Kim’s family for inviting folks out to their campsite at Blackhawk Lake for S’mores and a wonderful afternoon of visiting and sharing memories. Staff put on a Fiesta Happy Hour and a wine and cheese tasting event that were both quite delicious, and they hosted a beach party with music by the Plucky Strummers. Apartment tenants took a bus trip to Tower Junction and Grab A Cone in Montfort, went to Breitbach's Country Dining in Iowa and took a ferry ride, and enjoyed a salad luncheon.
