February may be the shortest month of the year, but it sure had plenty of activities for campus seniors to engage in! Valentine’s Day was celebrated in a variety of different ways – residents in assisted living made personalized boxes for goodies and cards, apartment tenants gathered for a special catered dinner, Chris Ross entertained for a fun campus-wide party, and children from Great Beginnings Daycare brought homemade Valentine’s Day cards for all the residents. The kiddos’ smiles always bring such joy! Folks also enjoyed stringing popcorn and cereal for the birds to eat, and apartment tenants held a Euchre tournament. Top dog winner with 57 points was Vester McCullick! Everyone can’t wait for the next tournament. Lastly, residents Merlin and Joan Patzner celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on February 17th with a special meal for just the two of them. Congratulations, you two! What a milestone! Thanks to the staff for making their anniversary so memorable, and thanks to all who shared their time and talents with us this past month To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
